What Painter Day is

Painter Day is a marketplace that connects businesses with vetted, independent painters who are available by the day. Painters are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Painter Day. Painter Day does not supervise or direct how painting work is done.

Accounts

You must give true, current information, keep your password safe and be at least 18. One person per account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the rules shown in the app.

Bookings, prices and tax

The client pays the day price shown at checkout (the painter's day rate plus Painter Day's platform fee) plus Connecticut sales tax unless a no-tax option applies. Painter Day is the merchant of record and collects and remits sales tax. A card hold is placed when you book and charged when the painter confirms; if the painter does not confirm in time, the hold is released.

Cancellations, refunds and fees follow the rules shown at checkout and on each booking. Clients and painters agree to the no-poaching terms shown in the app.

Painters

Painters set their own day rate and available days, must pass Painter Day's onboarding and in-person test, keep their documents current, and are paid their day rate after each completed job through Painter Day's payment partner.

SMS Terms (text messages)

Program name: Painter Day.

Message types: booking confirmations, job reminders, painter arrival/status updates and account alerts. No marketing texts.

You receive texts only if you opt in with the unchecked consent box at sign-up. Consent is not a condition of using Painter Day.

Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out at any time; you will get one confirmation text and no more texts. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or email dovid@6dprosolutions.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service, share false information, go around the platform to book or pay directly, harass anyone, or share contact details in chat.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Painter Day is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the fees Painter Day received for the booking involved.
